Jen Wing Wah Yiu

Jen is an emerging talent in the world of music, excelling as both a pianist and conductor. Driven by a deep passion for performance and education, Jen is building up an inspiring music career, earning recognition for her dedication and artistry.

Jen recently earned her Master of Music in Performance Studies from the University of Manchester, following a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the University of Huddersfield. Her piano journey began at a young age and has been shaped by years of competitions, performances, and masterclasses. She has won awards in prestigious competitions such as the Hong Kong Music Festival (HKIPPA) and the Manhattan International Young Artist Music Festival.

Jen has further honed her craft through masterclasses with celebrated pianists like Aristo Sham and Colleen Lee, deepening her expertise and artistry.

Beyond piano, Jen has developed a passion for conducting, which she began mastering during her university years. She has worked with and conducted esteemed orchestras, including the Airedale Symphony Orchestra, Skipton Camerata, and Bolton Symphony Orchestra, showcasing her versatility, leadership, and love for ensemble music.

With her solid academic foundation, extensive performance experience, and heartfelt dedication to teaching, Jen is committed to inspiring the next generation of musicians. She brings energy, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to excellence both on stage and in the classroom.
